The scoop is made of powder-coated metal. It measures 13.5" long and the bucket is 5" wide at the bottom. The scoop has a hole for hanging if you desire. Cleaning is easy. Use any cleaner or detergent as you would with any plastic scoop. You can use diluted bleach to wipte, just don't soak it in bleach for any length of time as this will eventually compromise the powder coated finish.
